Who qualifies for the FREE service?

Anyone over 70 or on benefits (including council tax benefit, working family tax credit and disability allowance) qualifies for both CAVITY and LOFT insulation for FREE. There are no hidden extra costs and no installation charges. There are some restrictions on sizes, which are very generous so 95% of those who qualify can have the complete job done for FREE

How long does it take?

For the CAVITY insulation we carry out a survey within 2 weeks and look to complete the work within 2-4 weeks of the survey being carried out. With regards to the LOFT we look to complete all work within 4 weeks.

Is there a lot of paperwork to complete?

No - we do all the paperwork - all we need from you is a signature.

I have a relative over 70 (or on benefits) who lives with me - do I qualify?

Yes - if there is someone who is a RESIDENT of the house who is either over 70 or on benefits then yes, you qualify for the free service

How much does it cost to everyone else?

We have a large pot of money to use on every property - so everyone who is not over 70 nor on benefits qualifies for a 60 - 80% subsidy. Again, we complete all the paperwork. Typically, the loft insulation costs 99 and the cavity insulation 199 - with a 10% discount when the 2 are combined.

How much will I save in energy bills?

This depends on the type of house, the existing insulation and type of heating etc. However, it is estimated that each type of insulation can save as much as 250 per year, so you could save up to 500 when combining the 2.

Who are your fitters?

One of the fitters co-owns the company, with 8 years experience in insulating lofts and cavities. Our cavity insulator has over 20 years experience in the industry. All other staff are experienced, trustworthy and we guarantee a quality, clean job!

I am a landlord with several properties, can you complete them all?

Yes - we work with numerous landlords, from those who own a handful of houses to those who own hundreds. We can work with you at a fixed price per property,heavily discounted, and apply all the FREE services available. This makes the homes more efficient, reduces your tenants bills and helps the HIP / EPC ratings
